Return policy

At Dumbo Defense, we are committed to providing high-quality defense and military-grade products that meet the strictest industry standards. Due to the sensitive nature of our products, all returns are subject to the following policy:

1. Eligibility for Returns

Returns will only be accepted under the following conditions:

  • The product was damaged in transit or contains manufacturer defects.

  • The product was incorrectly shipped due to an error on our part.

  • The product does not meet contractual specifications, as verified through an official review process.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-built, made-to-order, or modified products tailored to customer specifications.

  • Classified, ITAR-controlled, or other export-restricted materials.

  • Electronic or software-based systems that have been opened, installed, or activated.

  • Hazardous materials or ammunition, unless defective upon arrival and approved for return.

  • Products that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery.

3. Return Process

If you believe your order qualifies for a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a Return Request: Contact our Customer Support Team within 30 days of delivery.

  2. Provide Required Documentation: Include the original purchase order, serial number, photos of the issue (if applicable), and a detailed explanation of the reason for return.

  3. Receive Authorization: Returns will not be accepted without prior written approval and an assigned Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

  4. Shipping Instructions: Approved returns must be securely packaged in their original condition and shipped to the designated return address using an approved carrier. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, unless otherwise specified.

4. Refunds & Replacements

  • Refunds: If a return is approved, refunds will be processed within 30 business days to the original payment method, minus any applicable restocking fees.

  • Replacements: In cases of manufacturer defects or shipping errors, we will replace the item or provide an alternative solution as agreed upon in the contract.

5. Contractual and Regulatory Compliance

All returns must comply with U.S. export control laws, ITAR regulations, and government contract terms. If a return involves controlled items, additional documentation and procedures may be required. Failure to comply may result in penalties.
